5) Caving – Guides advised us that spelunking is also possible on some of the Islands such as Virgin Island

Thanks for the directions, we got there without any problem!

  • Hi Lorraine,
Thanks for your comment, glad that you found our information useful, we know its difficult to find directions in the Philippines and its even harder even to follow as there is a lack of street signs to assist.

  • Nice blog. Very informative. I love the photos. It’s very compelling. I will visit this place soon.

  • Hi Marvin,

  • kat

Hi, may I ask how long was the drive from SCTex to the destination? Thanks!

  • Hi Kat,
Drive was approximately 4 hours from SCTEX to destination (Hundred Islands, Alaminos Pangasinan). From Makati it is 5 hours total and 250KM one way. As reference, it is about the same distance from Makati to Baguio. Hope this helps!

  • wow!!!

wow what a great great tourist spot i will go there now…

This place is so beautiful yet hardly anything is done by the government to improve on the basic infrastructure and provide incentives for businesses to setup luxury accommodations and facilities to date. Hundred Islands should be showcased as one of the main tourist destinations in the Philippines and should have at least 500K visitors a year instead of the few thousands that trickle in.
